Judy Lilly was a hair dresser by day and a drag racer on the weekends. She started out with a ‘61 Corvette that raced in B/SP class and soon graduated to Hemi-powered Plymouth Belvedere, and later a Hemi ‘Cuda. With help from her husband Lou Lilly and Dennis Maurer, Judy honed her driving skills to razor-like sharpness. In other words, she was a gun-slinger on the line! Judy raced the Hemi ‘Cuda through the mid-’70s, replacing it with a SS/KA Duster in ‘74. In the early ‘80s Judy briefly raced a Hemi-powered Plymouth Horizon, but wasn’t able to secure a major sponsor. Judy is best remembered for her awesome Super Stock / A Automatic Hemi ‘Cuda.
