Before Pintos became the car of choice for Ford Pro Stock racers in '72, racers such as "Fast Eddie" Schartman, and "Dyno Don" Nicholson raced Ford Mavericks. Eddie’s bright yellow and blue checkerboard car also had gold-plated bumpers and fenton wheels. This was one classy Pro Stock Ford.
