2002 Major Corvette Events

Ahh... it's Summertime, time to go to a few cars shows and races.
Here's a list of the four major Corvette show events for the summer.

We are looking for people to cover the two events at the Corvette Museum and the event at Mid-America for this site. I will be attending the Corvettes At Carlisle Show and will be posting digital images from the show. However, I will not be able to attend the National Corvette Museum and Mid-America show. If you are going to any of the shows that I can not attend, and would like to cover the events with phots and a brief writeup about the show, I would be happy to post your images and story on our "Corvette Events Coverage Page." For your effort, I will send you a poster framed parchment print of your choice from this site.

Corvette Celebration & Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

to Feature Food, Fun & Celebrity Guests

August 28th to September 1st

Everyone is invited to attend the 8th Corvette Celebration weekend, featuring the Corvette Hall of Fame Induction and banquet, coming up August 28th to September 1st at the National Corvette Museum. This year's Corvette Celebration weekend starts on Wednesday to afford everyone an opportunity to visit the world's only Corvette Assembly Plant. The Corvette Assembly Plant will host tours Wednesday and Thursday, and will be closed Friday on for the Labor Day weekend. Aside from the guided tours at the plant, the event festivities features four days of celebrity guests and seminars, road tours, drag racing, good food and fun.

A NEW registration procedure is taking effect for Funfest '02, September 21-22! All attendees, who pre-register prior to September 6, will receive confirmation in the mail along with a FREE Admission Decal & Show Entry Ticket, entitling you and one of your passengers to one event T-shirt, one poster, one lapel pin and one Funfest meal, each. (After September 6, late and on-site registrants will be required to pay a $10 admission fee.)

Corvette 50th Anniversary Kick Off. (June 28-30)
